大學教務處於昨日（四月六日）發出廣發電郵，公告接獲教務委員會（The Senate）及校務委員會（The Council）本科生代表選舉的提名，當中只有一席的校務委員會本科生代表席位已有兩人報名參選。
教務委員會本科生代表選舉的參選人分別為陳希朗（理學士（測量學）一年級）以及孫曉嵐（社會工作學學士四年級）。陳及孫分別為現屆學生會內務副會長及去屆學生會會長。由於參選人數等於空缺席數（兩席），如校方在提名期於四月十二日結束前，未有接獲其他提名，陳及孫將自動當選，並分別於五月三日及六月七日上任。
而校務委員會本科生代表選舉亦有兩人參選，分別為 Faozan Anwar Nomani （工學學士一年級）及黃政鍀（文學士二年級），當中黃為現屆學生會會長。如果參選人數在提名期於四月十二日結束前，仍多於空缺席數（一席），校方將於四月二十四至二十八日舉行網上投票。當選人將於五月三日履新。
