前晚（21日）評議會舉行緊急會議，處理有關利希慎堂近日爆出連串醜聞的會員投訴，利希慎堂去屆幹事會成員、舍堂導師及舍監等均有列席會議。面對會眾關於兩宗事件的提問，利希慎堂學生會去屆幹事多番改口，又以私隱或找不到文件為由拒絕向評議會提供資料，更涉嫌作假證供。評議會最後通過撤回去年所接納的迎新報告，並要求利希慎堂學生會重新提交；另利希慎堂學生會亦須就兩事件向評議會遞交報告。
迎新指引：有「解釋」，無紀錄？
被問及新生是否獲清楚解釋舍堂迎新指引的提問時，去屆利希慎堂學生會外務副主席呂俊賢最初回答時稱，他們在第一次籌委會議時，已向組爸媽及籌委直接提及其舍堂迎新指引，並向他們提供相關文件，但因籌備及溝通不足，未有讓新生得悉該指引。其後建築學會代表詢問指引內容時，呂稱該指引為 CEDARS 提供之舍堂迎新指引。
身為利希慎堂去年度迎新籌委的學苑總編輯隨即質疑，稱自己從未收到過整份由 CEDARS 提供的舍堂迎新指引，呂即改稱曾在第一次籌委會議上向籌委「提及」該指引，並在組爸媽會議時「提供」指引。當校園電視代表及偉倫堂學生會代表要求書面紀錄時，呂再改稱他們是在會上要組爸媽自行上網搜尋，並堅稱籌委會的議程有作討論。學苑總編輯反駁，籌委會中未曾討論該指引，並向評議員披露當時的籌委會會議議程。呂辯稱議程「討論迎新營目的」中有提及該指引，但未能找到會議紀錄。有基本會員進一步質疑，即使沒有會議紀錄作為文字證據，舍堂迎新諮詢大會亦應有提及有關指引。呂堅持曾提醒組爸媽在組會要求全體堂友留意迎新指引，但未能就此提供相關資料作證。
以私隱為由拒絕提供迎新小冊子
之後有會員質疑，縱使籌委會會議紀錄、會員大會或迎新論壇等文字紀錄一概欠奉，迎新小冊子內亦應印有舍堂迎新指引以方便查閱，因而要求公開迎新小冊子。惟呂以涉及私隱為由，拒絕公開迎新小冊子。而當會員再追問「私隱」是指甚麼時，呂則指迎新小冊子內含其活動流程及活動詳細資料，公開或有損堂友私隱。
塗鴉肇事者「不可原諒」 但有悔意故可再入宿
利希慎堂學生會去屆幹事指，兩名指示新生塗鴉之宿生在事後「自首」，未曾收到李嘉誠醫學院之投訴。而該兩名宿生在事後已退宿，並於其後重新申請入住，經收生建議小組「綜合考慮」後建議舍監批准重新入住並獲接納。有會眾問到在收生過程中，舍堂管理團隊及利希慎堂學生會有否將「塗鴉事件」列入考慮因素。利希慎堂學生會去屆幹事表示，收生事務由獨立於幹事會的收生建議小組負責。由於事件有向舍監反映，且該兩名前宿生亦有悔意，因此同意他們重新入宿。惟呂亦承認雖然建議小組成員包括舍監及導師，但小組成員仍以宿生為主導。工程學會代表質疑，為何去屆幹事一邊在會上表示兩名宿生行為不可原諒，並於日前發聲明痛斥二人行為，另一邊廂卻建議舍監批准他們入住。去屆幹事表示，收生建議小組並不全由幹事組成，而小組亦認為失去宿位已是對二人的「懲罰」。
案發經過遭連番質疑 前外副反問是否質疑說謊
面對會上連番質問塗鴉弔唁冊一案的事發經過，利希慎堂學生會去屆幹事宣稱，夜行活動的籌委於活動結束後清場時，看到弔唁冊被打開，上前檢查後發現塗鴉，並循部份字眼猜測是堂友所為。但有會員懷疑，若弔唁冊所在之處不在活動路線上，或與活動沒有關係，籌委理應不會因弔唁冊被打開就貿然檢查。去屆幹事則指，夜行路線是「由一個地方到另一個地方」，而弔唁冊位置約於路線中間，因此才發現異常，而他們亦不了解為何有籌委要新生塗污弔唁冊，並認為事件非常幼稚，不能接受。
會眾其後追問兩名宿生的自首經過，希望𨤳清消息傳播及二人自首的時序。過程中去屆外務副主席呂俊賢就不少簡單是非題均與其莊友討論甚久才回答，更對多番會眾質詢感到不耐煩，反問會眾是否懷疑他在評議會上說謊。而呂最後解釋的時序為：夜行活動籌委在清場時發現事件，並在 WhatsApp Group 作通知，而去屆幹事亦立刻得悉事件，並馬上通知舍監導師，而兩名肇事宿生則在舍監導師回覆幹事會前自首。惟據本報所得資料，事件第二天晚上肇事宿生仍未現身，更要幹事會呼籲自首，與去屆幹事所陳述的發生經過不符，涉嫌作假。（詳見另稿：利希慎堂去屆幹事評議會上公然作偽證 稱早於舍監回覆已有人自首）
指校方正在調查暫不回應懷疑非禮案
當會眾問及懷疑非禮案一事，去屆利希慎堂學生會幹事以「事件已交由香港大學中央管理小組」處理為理由，拒絕在評議會上再回答任何有關於此事的質詢。當會眾轉為詢問去屆幹事會有否向校方查詢進度，以及如何向堂友交代，呂前外副只重申他們是處於被動角色，亦希望堂友在調查完成前，能夠避免提及此事。
利希慎堂學生會須重新提交去年迎新報告 以及兩事件報告
社會科學學會代表指出，去屆幹事在迎新報告中表示舍堂迎新指引獲嚴格實行，質疑這陳述是否屬實，亦問到會否考慮就其去屆迎新提交另一份報告。利希慎堂學生會去屆幹事再就事件致歉，但表示沒打算重交報告。社會科學學會代表認為，既然報告內容有不足之處，而利希慎堂學生會去屆幹事亦承認報告內容有紕漏，因此評議會應撤回接收該迎新報告的議案。經討論後，評議會一致同意撤回去年接收的迎新報告，並要求利希慎堂學生會須補交迎新報告。評議會另外亦在無反對下通過要求利希慎堂學生會就兩宗事件向評議會遞交報告。
