學生會就逃犯條例修訂邀請所有本科生及研究生參與聯署（聯署網址），致函聯合國人權事務委員會，呼籲委員會關注修訂對香港人權的威脅。
聯署信中除了指出修訂未能達至港府最初所聲稱，將疑犯引渡到台灣受審的目的外，還說明多個修訂會對香港人權帶來的破壞。修訂案將批准引渡的權力集中在行政長官身上，而考慮到香港實際政治安排和早前中國副總理韓正所提出中國政府會要求引渡的四個情況後，條例將會成為針對不受中國政府歡迎的政治人物的引渡安排，損害香港人權。信中亦強調，修訂將容許港府將疑犯引渡至實際上司法不獨立、以法律作工具打壓異見人士如劉曉波、王全璋等的中國大陸，將會違反公民及政治權利國際公約。任何政府將自己的公民引渡至中國般的司法管轄區都定必是公然侵犯人權之舉。
聯署信呼籲聯合國人權事務委員會在檢視相關修訂後，向拒絕回應市民憂慮的香港政府表達關注。信中又指，由於條例生效後會對香港人的權利造成不可補償的損害，因此請求委員會採取臨時措施或轉交特派調查員等合適行動。
聯署由即日起至六月八日晚上十一時五十九分止。有意聯署的本科生及研究生同學須以connect.hku 的電郵登入及提供大學編號以核實身份。
學生會評議會時事委員會亦呼籲同學參加六月九日由民間人權陣線所發起的「守護香港反送中」遊行。遊行於當日下午三時正於銅鑼灣東角道出發，遊行至金鐘添美道立法會。

After I originally left a comment I seem to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now every time a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment. There has to be an easy method you can remove me from that service? Kudos.
