學生會評議會今日（30日）開會討論早前會議違法違憲的指控，通過了可能是有史上第一次對自身的遺憾議案，並追認本屆所有在違憲情況下通過的決議。
會議先討論本屆評議會涉嫌違反會章的問題。學生會會章第七章第5C及D條列明評議會主席「缺席」（vacating the chair or absence）及「出缺」（unfilled or falling vacant）時的處理方法。法律學會代表張敬生指出，自本屆評議會第一次常務會議委為署理評議會主席起，所有關於委任評議會主席的程序及議案均有犯錯。張透過比喻學生會評議會擁有英國國會般的權限及引用普通法案例，解釋評議會現時可以採取的行動，並建議稍後透過追認（ratify）過去議案以解決現時情況，反對先前外務副會長建議透過擴展「absence」的解釋以解決現時問題。
評議會先就違反學生會憲章第七章第五D條通過對自身的遺憾議案，並隨即討論關於違憲的後續處理。有評議員提出追認過去動議，但外務副會長質疑是否此有權限，亦擔心會造成先例予屬會自行修正違規情況。文化聯會會長動議宣佈本屆會期所有決議無效，但去屆評議會主席指出此案會同時廢除剛才的決議，違反議事規則，主席隨即宣布議案打消。其後一條類似的議案，提出廢止（void）本屆評議會截止上次會議之所有決議在2票贊成、34票反對、無人棄權下遭否決。評議會最後在無反對之下通過動議，追認（ratify）本屆評議會之決議。
就以上違憲及後續決議，評議會建議將有關向會員解釋事件一事交予評議會事務委員會（Council Business Committee）準備。而就早前外務副會長等提出，關注「追認」議案的適用範圍及應用方式，將交由修憲委員會（Constitution Review Committee）討論。
會議其後討論由李梓成同學提出，關於上次評議會違反議事常規的投訴。文學院學生會代表吳家齊承認有過失，但指出由於評議會剛才已通過追認議案，因此議案是否有效的問題已獲處理。外務副會長認為投訴成立，建議在評議會事務委員會向會員解釋時一併處理。在外務副會長的建議後，因沒有其他發言，主席宣布會議結束。
