據學生會二月八日晚上公布的累積投票率，截止八日下午六時四十五分止，校園電視、學苑以及普選評議員的投票率分別為12.46%、12.44%及12.42%，投票人數為2084人、2081人及2077人。與過去兩年同期的13.45%(2017)及16.06%(2016)相比，投票率低約7%及22%。
有指早上有票站於十時半正式開放時間仍未有票站職員到達，選委會主席馮紀立指，因有票站職員遲到，而當時又未有足夠人手作即時抽調，因此有一個票站於約11時20分才能開放。馮承認或會對同學有一定影響，幸好一般早上較少人投票。馮指現時專注於順利舉辦選舉，是否懲處或如何懲處相關人員將於選舉結束後於選委會討論。馮紀立亦回應昨日電腦系統疑發生故障一事。他指早上剛開票站時電腦系統曾短暫失靈，但數分鐘後即恢復正常，未有影響同學投票。
本屆周年大選投票期至本周五，同日晚上隨即點票。所有學生會會員均可於校園內七個票站投票選出學苑、校園電視、普選評議員，本科生同時可投選自己學院院務委員會的本科生代表。
